My inspiration is Erin Hanson. She is a landscape oil painter and creates vibrant paintings of her own pictures she takes on trips. Erin is the creator of her own style "Open Impressionism" which includes extraordinary use of colour, implied texture, and unity. She inspires me because of her use of a variety of vibrant colours that I try to include in my landscapes because of how dream-like it makes it look. Her use of texture also catches my eyes. I love including directional brush strokes in my art and I can kind of relate to her in that way. I'm obsessed with how her paintings are so vibrant and beautiful to look at and I hope I can get my art to have the same affect
